CARROT

Carrots are among the most grown vegetables in the world. It can be consumed raw in form of salad, cooked vegetables, or used in making sweets. It is a cool-season vegetable crop that needs a proper climate for its growth.

Carrots are commonly grown in sandy soils, but it is preferred to grow carrots in loamy soil that holds water better. Carrot grows very well in temperatures between 15°C - 25°C.
