RADISH

Radish is a vegetable crop that is grown in various parts of India & the world. Radish is generally consumed raw in form of salads or is added in vegetables for flavor.

Radish is cultivated in sandy loam soil which is high in organic matter. The pH value of the soil should be in the range of 5.5 – 6.8 for ideal growth.

Sowing of Radish is done in the month of June – July in hilly regions & September in plain regions for healthy growth.
